Nurah Abdulhaqq (she/they) is a senior at Sarah Lawrence College pursuing a BA in Liberal Arts with focuses in Politics, Dance, and Journalism. Her professional experience spans across political organizing, gun violence prevention, public affairs and public relations. Previously Nurah worked at March For Our Lives, where she served as Youth Congress & Georgia State Organizing Director, Giffords as a Center for Violence Intervention Intern, and The Hayes Initiative as a Public Relations & Strategic Communications Intern. In addition to her work experience Nurah has also contributed to Teen Vogue and Prism Reports in Op-Ed pieces. She brings expertise in political communications, community organizing, and social justice advocacy, where she combines her passions and interest into her work at Chicken & Egg Films where she is a Communications Intern.
