Anna Shishova-Bogolubova (she/her) was born in the USSR and now resides in Norway. Together with her husband, filmmaker Dmitry Bogolyubov, Anna has directed several documentaries for ARTE, including Town of Glory, which won the Audience Award for Best Documentary at Trieste Film Festival along with several other international awards. Her recent feature documentary, The New Greatness Case, has received several international nominations and awards, including the  Grand Jury Award at the Buenos Aires Film Festival and the Main Award at Budapest International Film Festival.

Anna Shishova-Bogolubova is the director of 2025 (Egg)celerator Lab Finalist film Autumn of the Patriarch.
