Producer

Erika Malmgren (she/her) is a producer and co-owner of Cinenic Film, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her recent films include the award-winning feature documentary Children of the Enemy, which screened at DOC NYC, CPH:DOX, FIPRESCI Prize/Krakow Film Festival and the Doc Main Award & Doc Audience Award at the AJB DOC Film Festival; the dramedy So Damn Easy Going, which won Jury Awards for Best First Feature and Best Performance at Out on Film, as well as a Jury Award for Outstanding First Feature at Frameline San Francisco LGBTQ+ Film Festival; and the feature documentary The Andersson Brothers, which screened at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, DOK.fest München, and Krakow Film Festival. Erika is a 2023 EAVE graduate. 

Erika Malmgren is the producer of 2025 (Egg)celerator Lab Finalist film I Am an Olive Tree.
