
Jane Greenberg (she/her) is an Oakland-based documentary filmmaker with 30 years of experience in independent film. She began her career in 1996 after winning a video camera for her student film in the American Film Institute’s Visions of US contest. Since then, she has worked on more than 50 documentaries that have aired nationally on PBS, serving in key roles including producer, editor, camera operator, sound recordist, archival producer, and production manager. Notable credits include producer and editor for Come Hell or High Water: The Battle for Turkey Creek (America ReFramed), co-producer and additional editor for Adios Amor (VOCES), co-producer of Butte, America (Independent Lens), and producer of Fenceline: A Company Town Divided (POV). The Surrender of Waymond Hall is her directorial debut.
