Natalie Baszile’s (she/her) novel, Queen Sugar, was adapted for television and co-produced by Ava DuVernay and Oprah Winfrey for OWN. Natalie’s non-fiction book is We Are Each Other’s Harvest: Celebrating African American Farmers, Land & Legacy. Her essays have appeared in National Geographic; The Bitter Southerner; O, The Oprah Magazine; and numerous anthologies. Natalie has had residencies at Ragdale Foundation, Virginia Center for the Arts, Hedgebrook, and the Djerassi Resident Arts Program where she received the SFFILM and the Bonnie Rattner Fellowships.
Natalie Baszile is the co-director of 2025 (Egg)celerator Lab film HARVEST.
